Balloon FAQ’s
How long will my balloon design last?
This is a question all customers have and it is a legitimate one. Air filled balloons that are kept indoors can last up to 1 month with slight variation in color ( some vibrant colors will fade to a more pastel matte appearance). While balloons that are displayed outside have a shorter life span.
Balloon designs that are set up in direct sunlight and in high Temperatures ( 85 degrees or higher) will last 4-5 hours. This means the latex will start to become soft and fragile which leads to popping balloons or balloons fusing together. While balloons in shade can last anywhere from 2-7 days in ideal temperatures of 70-80 degrees.
Helium latex balloons will float for max of 12 hours while foil balloons can last from 4-7 days in ideal climates.
How long do I keep my balloon designs?
Garlands do not require balloons stands as they are normally installed onto a surface or prop, so once set up is complete the balloon design is yours to keep up or take down after your event.
Traditional Arches and Columns are done on stands ( dense plastic indoors or heavy wood outdoors) and have pipe to hold the shape of the arch and column. The standard practice is designs are installed on day of your event and are de-assembled by SBD after your event same day or next day if event is over after 10 pm outdoor or indoors.
Are your balloons Eco-Friendly?
Yes! Our first choice always are balloon’s that are biodegradable . You can feel good in your choice of decorations knowing it is environment friendly. We uses Qualatex, Tuftex and Sempratex for our balloon designs.
Can I leave my designs outside over night ?
It is our recommendation that balloon designs DO NOT sit outdoors overnight as any shine to your balloon with turn to matte. The cold nights have a shrinking effect on the balloons and the design does not hold well the next day. If your design is being kept for “2 days” please make accommodations to move your design inside and then back out the next day.
